Pakistani Ambassador to U.S. discusses Pakistan’s role as “critical ally” in Wilmington visit
Pakistani Ambassador to the U.S. Husain Haqqani speaks Wilmington Rotary Club at DuPont Country Club

Pakistan’s ambassador to the United States, Husain Haqqani, made a pitch for stronger U.S.-Pakistani relations Thursday in Wilmington.  Ambassador Huqqani addressed a packed house at DuPont Country Club for a meeting of the Rotary Club of Wilmington.

Huqqani’s visit to Delaware was part of the Wilmington Rotary Club’s ongoing “Pakistan Project” in conjunction with the Lahore Mozang Rotary Club in Pakistan.  The project’s goal is to bridge cultures and advance understanding through personal contact and joint service.

DFM News sat down with Ambassador Huqqani to discuss the Rotary Club of Wilmington’s “Pakistan Project” and other issues central to U.S -Pakistani relations:
