The ongoing effort to improve the way Delaware schools engage parents continued this week with a workshop on the topic hosted by Lt. Governor Matt Denn and the Delaware State Education Association (DSEA).
The workshop was moderated by Dr. Mavis Sanders, a professor at the Johns Hopkins School of Education.
DFM News’ Tom Byrne sat down with Dr. Sanders to discuss what she’s learned in researching parental and community engagement and how school in Delaware and elsewhere can improve in that area.
